2. Give them the time
Who does not want to speak with the employer? Giving time to get a little chit chat along with your employees will give these a sense of belongingness in the business. It will also make them much more amenable to your choices. You should foster a wide open environment in your workplace where people can go to you and say something they want without anxiety about censure. This is actually great for small companies who are starting up and are in need of fresh ideas.

3. Involve them with the decisions
Another way to motivate your employees is to buy them into the votes. This is especially true for major decisions that will include them or which will factor in their life. It is important that you also ask them what they believe. Giving them the right to point out their piece and also to vote for something gives them ownership with the business and we understand that people tend to perform better or carry out more for things that they own. Make the business your employees. Create that feeling of belongingness as well as oneness. You will have smoothly operating business.

4. Let others know
Publishing achievements in a message board will give employees the motivation that they have to strive more. Besides the feeling of competition even when there is none can fuel the blood vessels of some. Let others know of what other people have already accomplished.
